At each school that runs MealTime information, such as meal counts, financial data, student and eligibility information is readily accessible through our simple point-and-click Reports menu. This provides your staff at each school with the ability to easily access any MealTime information at any time – even during meal service. In districts with more than one or two schools, the central office is usually responsible for combining the information from throughout the district for eligibility group counts, total meals sold, deposit information, as well as submitting a State Reimbursement Claim Form.
MealTime Central is used at the central office to consolidate all the data from the individual schools into a single database so that reports, such as the Daily Bank Deposit and the State Reimbursement Claim form reflect the combined numbers for all the schools in the district. If every school in your district is not yet a part of the MealTime program, you can still enter sales data for those schools into MealTime Central so that only one state claim form is necessary.
This process of data consolidation from the individual schools into MealTime Central Office can be setup to occur automatically, on a daily basis, across your district’s network. Or, if all the schools are not yet networked together, the information from the individual schools can be transferred to MealTime Central Office using removable storage media, either daily or on a schedule of your choosing. And updates to the MealTime software, which you receive periodically, can also be done for all the local schools in the district from the district office.
MealTime Central Office also allows you to connect to each school in your district and make live, real-time changes to their MealTime systems, provided that all the schools and the central office are networked. So whenever new students enroll or food prices or reimbursement rates need to be updated, you can update MealTime at every school in the district from the central office in a matter of minutes, without visiting the individual school sites or working through the lunchroom staff at each location. This is particularly beneficial in districts with a large number of schools or where the schools may be spread out over a wide distance. MealTime Central Office does more than just consolidate information; it allows the District office staff to control the whole MealTime system, while allowing them real-time access to the MealTime information throughout the whole district. It also includes the ability to update any school’s MealTime system from the central office.
